Affiliate Disclosure
Straight talk about how we make money — and how we keep our recommendations honest.
The short version
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy the product, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. Sometimes you even get a discount or bonus by using our link. That's it. That's the deal.
Why we use affiliate links
Running this site — researching tools, building templates, keeping the lights on — takes time and money. Affiliate commissions let us keep most of our resources free and our prices low. When a tool we already recommend offers a referral or affiliate program, we use it. It costs you nothing and helps us keep doing this work.
Our promise to you
This is the part that matters most: commissions never decide our recommendations. We recommend tools because they're genuinely good for church planters — based on real pricing, real features, and the actual needs of a new church. We have recommended (and will keep recommending) tools that pay us nothing when they're the right fit. If a higher-paying tool isn't the best choice, we'll tell you so.
How to spot an affiliate link
You'll see a short disclosure banner near the top of any article that contains affiliate links. Assume that links to paid software and services — things like church management platforms, giving tools, accounting software, and email tools — may be affiliate links. Links to the IRS, government forms, and other free resources are not.
The FTC bit
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires sites like ours to disclose affiliate relationships clearly. This page, plus the banners on our articles, are how we do that. We'd tell you anyway — but now it's official.
Products we sell ourselves
Some products in our shop are our own digital templates and systems, not affiliate products. When you buy those, you're buying directly from us. Either way, we only put our name on things we'd actually use.
